Tinos

Ag Ioannis Porto, TinosTinos is one of the most interesting islands in the Cyclades. First of all it is sort of the Lourdes of Greece and pilgrims flock here for August 15th and other Orthodox religious holiday. It is also home to a large Catholic population, in fact there are Catholic and Orthodox villages. It also has some really nice beaches like Ag Ioannis Porto, and is popular with in-the-know tourists.  There are daily ferries to Mykonos and Syros so it can be included with those islands.  Hotels are listed from highest category to lowest with villas, apartments, houses and simple rooms last. You can get information on Tinos by going to my Tinos Guide. A great way to plan your trip is my Create-an-itinerary page which allows you to put together a custom itinerary with the help of a travel agency with no obligation to book.  You can also use Booking.com's Tinos Hotel Search which is a great tool for finding exactly what you want.
