CAROLINA Hotel – Cat. 2* – Central Market/Downtown area

This well located, family run hotel was fully renovated in December 2004. A very comfortable hotel for its category, it is housed in a classical building, which has been operating as a hotel since 1934. Only a short 15 minutes walk to the Acropolis and the Plaka, the Carolina offers 31 rooms, all with private facilities (shower/WC), hair-dryer, air-condition, TV, safety box and direct dial phone. Breakfast (continental) is served in the breakfast room which operates as a coffee-shop and a bar in the afternoon. In the same area there is a wide screen plasma TV. An ideal hotel for those who are budget oriented. It is called the Carolina Hotel because it was originally owned by two brothers from South Carolina.
