The Hotel Kastro is located at the northwestern coast of the island, just before the excavation sites in Paleopolis. The hotel is only 50 meters from the sea. It is 6 Km away from Kamariotissa, the port of the island, and 7 Km away from Therma. It is 4 Km away from Hora, the capital city of the island. The Hotel Kastro offers everything from a swimming pool over the Hotel's own restaurant up to a special breakfast buffet. There are 6 separate buildings in which there are 100 beds in 50 rooms. In the central building there is a Reception, Restaurant and the inside Bar.Every room has its own balcony with a spectacular view of the Sea. The KASTRO hotel has two types of rooms, a double room and a bigger room with a double bed and a couch which becomes two separated beds. In both of these two types of rooms there is a TV set, a mini-bar, air-conditioning, phone and a radio. |

The Hotel KASTRO organizes a two-week-long hiking program on the island's best hiking routes with an English speaking guide. The program also includes an island tour by boat, around the inaccessible steep coast in the south. The restaurant of the Hotel Kastro is known for its delicious home-cooked meals and for the dancing and singing that goes on afterwards with live rembetika, laika and island music played by local musicians. |
