Ios is for young people. Imagine an international spring break with people in their teens and twenties and a few hearty older types, spending all day on the beautiful beaches and then partying into the night at the many bars and clubs. If you are of college age and looking for fun then this is the island for you and if you are not just come anytime but July or August. Ios can easily be combined with Santorini since there are daily ferries. Hotels are listed beginning with the ones I most recommend.
