and Maria's Houses contains six separate housing facilities detached from each other, all built about a century ago and restored
in 1989 exactly as they were originally built. Located on the stone paved pedestrian footpaths of Kastro, they
are prime examples of original Kastrian architecture (stone floors, wooden ceilings, low entrance doors, asymmetrical
walls, etc.) |

Each of the units has its own name and its own special character. They each contain a bedroom combined with a living
room area with a built-in sofa/bed, an equipped kitchenette, a bathroom, and a balcony with sea view.

Portou is composed of a bedroom with a built in double
bed. There is a living room which is open to the bedroom but at a slightly lower level (3 interior steps) with
two sofa-beds forming a corner couch, a separate fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a large veranda with panoramic
sea view.
Floreas is built in two floors. The upper floor is composed
of two bedrooms, one of which is also used as a living room, and a balcony with a mountain view and side sea view.
An interior staircase leads to the lower floor which is composed of a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a
shaded veranda.
Romantica is a detached little house of one open space,
situated in the village of Kastro, on the stone paved pedestrian footpaths, 300 m. from the sea. Built about a
century ago and restored in 1989, a great example of original Kastrian and Cycladic architecture (stone floors,
wooden ceilings, etc.). The studio is composed of a bedroom with a built in double bed, a living room corner which
is open to the bedroom with a built-in sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a veranda with panoramic
sea view.
Konaki (just renovated) is a spacious, separate, traditional
double studio (wooden ceilings, stone floors, etc.) with private bathroom and kitchenette. This studio is within
the fascinating footpaths of Kastro, surrounded by the unique architectural houses of Kastro, therefore without
a view.
