Sifnos
Sifnos is my favorite island for a number of reasons. It is not as crowded as the more popular Cyclades Islands, and is still largely agricultural. It has beautiful family friendly beaches and great restaurants, perhaps the best food in the Cyclades. The nightlife of Apollonia in the summer can rival the more popular islands but you can always find peace and quiet. And the people are among the most friendly in Greece. Hotels are listed beginning with the ones I most recommend. The rest are listed from highest category to lowest with villas, apartments, houses and simple rooms last.
