from Sifnos and she's British. Together they will make your stay one you will never forget. The Hotel Stavros is right on the Kamares waterfront with balconies
that give a view of the entire bay. Downstairs is a cafe that serves breakfast in the morning, sandwiches and Ice-cream
all day, and ouzo and beer anytime. There is an un-official information center in the hotel lobby where Stavros
will tell you when the ferries arrive and depart, how to make connections to other islands and even book a room
for when you get there. He also rents cars and jeeps, the best way to see the island.
The outstanding attractions of Sifnos include terraced olive groves, beautiful sandy
beaches and traditional Cycladic architecture. The island is famous for its high standard of cuisine. the quality
of its locally made ceramics and its 365 churches. Sifnos is also a walkers paradise
The port of Kamares is impressively positioned between two mountain ranges. Here
you find local potters workshops, pretty waterside restaurants and a friendly relaxing atmosphere. From your balcony
you can watch the sunset on the beach and the ships sail in and out of the harbor.

The Hotel Stavros
The Hotel Stavros is situated in the village of Kamares and was one of the first hotels in Sifnos. It was built by Stavros' Father and has been in the family for more than 50 years though it has gone through several renovations.
Each room contains a private bathroom, sea view balcony, refrigerator, air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, safe and hair dryer. The Hotel Stavros is positioned 10 metres from the beach and has stunning views over the bay of Kamares and the surrounding mountains.
The Hotel Stavros offers a number of different room combinations including a two bed roomed family flat with fully equipped kitchen which can accommodate up to 7 people. There are also inter-connecting rooms and family rooms accommodating up to 5 people.

Hotel Kamari
The Hotel Kamari is a small family run hotel in the village of Kamares. The spacious rooms all have a sea facing or mountain view balcony. Guests can relax in the hotel lounge with complimentary tea/coffee and freshly baked snacks.
There are computers and printers for guests use plus games, colouring pens and paper for children. In addition to regular double & triple rooms the hotel offers two bedroom apartments for up to 8 people. The sandy beach of Kamares is just a 5 minute walk away and there is an excellent choice of tavernas and cafes around the sea front.
All the rooms contain a bathroom, air-conditioning, wifi, tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator, TV, safe, toiletries, hair dryer and a sea or mountain view balcony, some of the rooms have a fully equipped kitchenette on request.

Eleonas Apartments
The Eleonas Apartments, located in Apollonia, the capital of Sifnos. These five independent
houses built in the Cycladic style are positioned in a quiet but central location amongst olive terraces and a
small church. Each apartment contains a fully equipped kitchen, living room with sofa beds, bathroom and bedroom
and can accomodate 5 people. Each one has at least two large private verandas all of which have a superb view
of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding villages. The Eleonas apartments are within easy walking distance of Apollonia's
restaurants, shops and bars. From Apollonia there is frequent bus service to all the beaches of the island.

Villa Salamander
The Villa Salamander is located at the end of a private road in a quiet
location just 10 minutes walk from the main village of Kamares. The
main part of the house has a fully equipped kitchen with full oven,
microwave and washing machine. The main bedroom has a double bed plus
an en-suite shower/WC and the second bedroom has twin beds. There is a
living/dining room, second bathroom, air-conditioning and large verandas
with superb views over the bay of Kamares, the valley towards
Apollonia and the surrounding mountains.
